Karen Sokolof Javitch and Jody Vinci will interview me about my famous novel MARCELLA for a radio show, "It's the Beat!" The show will air Sat Feb 16 from noon-1:00 on 1290 KOIL. If you miss it, you can catch it at www.itsthebeat.net about a week or so after the show airs.

The Author Fair

The Omaha Public Library Author Fair will feature authors, publishers, book sellers, and literary experts next Saturday, Feb. 16, 1-4 p.m.

One of about 20 authors, I'll display six books, including my some just-published books: MARCELLA, a reprint of my famous novel; a new book, PRICKSONGS: Tart Poems from the Sixties; and MAS - TUR - BA - TION, a reprint of an irreverent booklet.

 At 2 p.m., a panel of publishers, book sellers, and literary experts will talk about what's happening in publishing. The discussion will include advice for writers who want to be discovered.

The Author Fair, next Saturday (February 16) 1-4 p.m.at W. Dale Clark Library, 215 S. 15th St., 4th floor.

The fair is free and open to the public.
